Meet The Owner
Anna began designing jewelry as a young child and continued her passion for jewelry making into her twenties. After getting her Bachelors from Kean University in Business Management, Anna pursued a teaching degree and began working as a full time teacher in one of the best school districts of New Jersey.
In 2013, Anna got engaged and had a hard time finding wedding sandals for her destination wedding in Mexico. After stumbling upon Pinterest, she saw beaded barefoot sandals for the first time. At that moment she knew that she needed to try and create a pair for her own wedding. After some months of experimentations and getting back into beading, Anna heard of Etsy and decided to give it a try. Almost a year later, and over 250 sales Anna decided it was time to expand her business and sell outside of Etsy. This website was slowly born. Without any web development experience, no knowledge of HTML, Anna conquered the challenges of creating a small online shop.
At the moment, Bare Sandals is currently being sold on Bib+Tuck, 9th and Elm, Artfire, Facebook and many other places. From time to time, Bare Sandals team will travel to craft fairs and showcase their jewelry all over New Jersey.
Our goal is simple: to solve your problem of finding the perfect pair of barefoot sandals.
"I believe quality precedes quantity. It is not about making 1000 sandals, putting them all online and waiting for the payday. I personally handcraft all of the sandals and buy only the best quality of materials here, in the USA. The time it takes me to make the sandals vary greatly on their design and the availability of the materials. If you have an idea in mind, but don't see in on our website, just shoot me a message and I will gladly discuss the customization of your unique, one-of-a-kind pair of barefoot sandals. I want to make sure that you have an unforgettable wedding day ( just like I did ), wearing Bare Sandals and feeling absolutely unstoppable."
